Hey, I have a quick question for you. What’s your opinion on Makita drill drivers? Are they worth the price? Or do you think a cheaper brand is good like Ryobi? I’ve been using an old corded drill for years and I’m planning to upgrade to Lithium Ion. Thank you very much! 🙂
Hey there Katlyn,
My sincere apologies for the late answer. You have probably already made a decision and bought a new drill. But…
I can tell you all that I now am the happy owner of a Ryobi Impact driver (cordless drill) and I LOVE it. The corded drills are great- powerful but heavy and cumbersome. My previous cordless drill was good, but heavy. so, now for the Ryobi: It’s got enough power to assemble heavy-duty stuff like the wooden chairs from IKEA that I like (Jokkmokk, Stefan, et al).
The 3 settings mean that I can go from very little force, like when putting a hanging wire on my paintings, to drilling holes in concrete walls, and everything in between.
Please, Katlyn, do share what kind of drill you own now?
Susanne
