Who am I?
I have lived in the United States for many years now but am from Denmark, Scandinavia originally. For me, having two countries and thus two cultures has added a richness and color to my life that I would not want to be without. I am happily married to my husband Tim Szippl and live in Kansas.
I am an artist who teaches as well as one who creates.I have been an artist all my life – it’s an affliction I am born with I jokingly tell people. But joking aside, I am also an artist who have this crazy notion that the world would be a better place if more of us are happy and authentic to our deepest inner selves.
Our souls thrive with beauty, harmony….and art. I love to help bring about that beautiful walk for myself and for others. I have honed my own skills as an artist- making a living by painting murals, portraits, and commission pieces and later by teaching others art and spiritual practices. Art holds a magic pathway for us all to find our deepest inner selves: Both looking at art and creating art gets us in touch with our inner spirit; a spirit that is rich in thoughts, feelings, visions; original and full of juice and power.
