Would you like to know the easiest way to clean your pallet?

I don’t know how you clean your pallet but when I started painting I didn’t know the best way to clean my paint pallet!

How NOT to clean your pallet

Wiping all that unused paint up with a rag was a mess. And if the paint had dried up that was not even possible. Washing acrylic paint off the pallet and down the drain will send it all off into the streams- not environmentally responsible, not to mention that it WILL eventually clog up your drains. Another reason why a large tempered glass sheet is the very best pallet!

Let the paint sit on the pallet when you are done painting for the day – acrylic paint dries very quickly so just let it sit for about 30 minutes or so.  A quick spritz with your water spray bottle on the dried-up paint and not even a minute later it will start separating from the glass and be ready to scrape off with a scraper and wipe clean with a rag or a paper towel. The scrapers can be bought in the pet department- the cheap aquarium blade scrapers work fine.

This is BOTH environmentally safe and fast.

I share other quick tips and give you some powerful intuitive painting techniques in the Painting on the Heart Side Masterclass. You can watch the recording if you have not attended live.
